Kazaa Lite crashing no matter what

If I open Kazaa Lite and start transferring files, no matter what version I use, 2.1.0, 2.4.1 or the newest 2.4.2, the program ALWAYS freezes after a few minutes and I have to hard reset my system.

Any idea wtf is going on?

I'm running WinXP with all the latest patches. This started when I installed 2.4.2 a couple weeks ago, but I've reformatted a few times since then.

I had that problem when I had penicillen fire wall activated.
