See, Trump is behaving exactly as any embattled cornered tyrant would do: hunkering down in a dark corner of his palace, lashing out at his enemies through his state controlled media outlets, issuing empty-headed nonsensical threats, defying the very advisers he gathered around himself and if the mood strikes, having them stood up in front of the firing squad of public opinion and give the order to "fire with extreme prejudice" in order to make examples of them.

I mean, it's like Putin is standing right next to him whispering sweet nothings in his ear about how to REALLY rule a nation like the despot he has to be.

What's worse still is every time Trump gets his ass hung over a raging firestorm, his reflexive go-to solution is to cower back in abject fear, then tip his crown that much closer to his eyebrow and starts issuing edicts, threats and ultimatums instead of seeking consensus that deals with the realities of the situation at hand.
