Kayaking is definitely a lot of fun. My shoulder area was pretty sore yesterday. We were out on the water for about 4.5 hours and kayaked about 4.25 miles.

Yeah, Kayaking is fun. I have an Old Town Predator, but I'm probably going to sell it and get a 2-seater, so my wife can come along with me.

I'm just a newb, so no whitewater kayaking yet 😛. It's in California.

I tried to kayak. My roomie does it so he made me practice rolling first. Could not get it so I quit. 🙁
But kudos to you.

It was my first time going out. I'm actually going on another kayak trip with some co-workers in Nevada in Black Canyon (colorado river just below Hoover dam). You can get rentals in Morro Bay, and probably some other areas along the coast in California. here's a link for avid kayakers

Kayaking is great fun, but unfortunately I don't have the wonderful scenery that you have. I've only been kayaking at Long Beach Harbor, but still much more fun than I thought it would be.
