it says 64bits, that's half the of what the 650 have.
64bit GDDR5 should be as good as 128bit DDR3 numbers but I think it's worse because the card will only use half the "ROPs"!?

at the same time it's 1250MHz, while most DDR3 cards use 800 or 900.
so it's like 40GB/s, for this 640 64bit GDDR5

64bit gddr5? What a strange combination. So it actually have more bandwidth than gt640. 40GB/s vs 28GB/s... Interesting

I would love to see power consumption number in this review. That would be interesting to see.

1. How were you able to obtain and bench a chip prior to a NDA lifting?

2. I don't believe you are allowed to start threads to promote your website, you are only allowed links in your sig, but I am sure a Mod will make that decision if they haven't already.

You're accusing another person without having any proof?

It's especially "funny" looking at Intel's logo in your avatar.

I believe that this whole thread is not allowed, I am checking with higher authority. He is right though that self-promotion is not allowed.

The NDA has been lifted so I don't understand what NDA is this guy breaking?
As for "self-promotion", how can we know about the review if somebody doesn't post about it? Do you suggest he should have asked somebody else to create a topic in his name? That would be actually devious.

This is also reposted all over the place as a quick google search will reveal.

I actually think it would be more shameless self promoting to just post a link and nothing else. All the pertinent information is in the OP. Don't have to leave the forums to see it.

Are forum users forbidden to share their performance charts?

Considering he has 31 posts over 2-3 years and every post is pimping his blog and he never has any community involvement above that..... Yes, it's a self promotion only account and those aren't allowed.

agreed, I didn't visit any of his links, just looked at what he posted in this topic, and I think it was a good post with some interesting numbers,

if you forbid people from posting their results here, they could just pretend it's not theirs and post a link, I prefer this way.

What he posted here is instantly more contribution than 90% of the posting population, and you don't have to visit a link to get it. What's the issue?

Keep in mind that the Iris Pro on the 4750HQ is TDP limited to 47W for the whole package.

And IrisPRO is still a too expensive piece of hardware and it's unaffordable for the PC/notebook nowdays mainstream targets.

So IGP's continue to be an unsuitable choice for anyone remotely interested in mainstream games.

With 4k monitors going mainstream-priced and PC sizes getting every year smaller, will ever IGPs catch dGPUs?
