The GOP needs to back away from this if only to preserve the dignity & image of the Court. We need a Court we can respect and Kavanaugh will never have that in the eyes of too many people. True or not, these allegations will never be resolved & he'll carry that for the rest of his life. We can't let that taint the SCOTUS. It's utterly irresponsible.

1) There's a masterful Democrat-backed conspiracy to discredit Kavanaugh that was planned years in advance, and which they never sprung on Gorsuch for some reason
2) Kavanaugh was a shitty nominee

It's not THAT hard to find a decent conservative judge to fill the spot, and if they stop farting about they might still manage it before the midterms, or in a worst-case scenario during the lame duck session. Why is this guy the hill you want to die on so badly?
