I was at my grandmother's house last Sunday for my family's weekly lunch and I happened to bring my digital camera. My grandmother has a few hummingbird feeders and they were being swarmed by dozens of these birds, so I took a few pics.
The best that I can guess is that they are/were around due to the destruction from Katrina. I'm not sure what Rita will cause them to do.
