This week, she caused anger with when she tweeted that there must be a "final solution" in dealing with terrorists following the Manchester terror attack.

She later changed the term "final solution" to "true solution", describing the earlier version as a "mis-type".

Anyone who really thinks that was a mis-type should also bear in mind that she has also compared migrants to cockroaches, she also advocated that the military should be used to sink migrant boats and to burn all the boats in North Africa.

Normally I wouldn't regard anything that she spews as news-worthy, but that she was sacked. Although I am fairly amazed that LBC hired her in the first place, from what (apparently little) I know of the station.

I'm not really all that familiar with her, but I looked up her persona and prior controversies. Given what she's said and done in the past I'm really surprised this got her canned. In fact, it seems that producing this kind of slag is why she was hired.

I agree in that it seems hypocritical of the radio station to act this way. I have a feeling though that some radio stations feel that the best way to increase the size of their audience is through professional trolling, and in this case they felt that she had gone several steps over the line.

I've stopped listening to any political discussions on BBC Radio 2 partly because they were willing to give her air time, but partly also because I think they try to keep the level of discussion at as low a level of political enlightenment as possible; for example they still entertain discussions along the lines of "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear": I'm thinking, Jesus, really? If this was a show for schoolchildren to have political discussions then it would be appropriate to properly flesh out a dead horse topic like that one, but mature adults should have had that discussion already and long ago, and I think the aim of such shows is to anger people that such ignorant views are being aired and therefore make them want to ring up to correct them.

Perhaps it's not what but when she commented. The UK wants to keep order and carry on and it does not need someone calling for others to grab a torch and head for the castle, so to speak, when someone just might.

It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They actively encourage the deviance for their benefit then when it crosses some line they hold her accountable. I don't understand why this was the particular line, but I'm not arguing against the firing. It's just that they are also responsible for her behavior.

Sounds good to me as long as we apply the same policy to homegrown white conservative Christian terrorists.

Agreed... although it's not usually those few who are getting the free pass or reduced sentence these days.

What about the Black and Hispanic terrorist gangs?
Are they Christian too? I'm trying to be as bigoted as possible here. Don't want to cast too wide of a net.

Only fair if we include all the people real enthusiastic about killing expendable ethnicities. Not sure why conservatives would be for any of this though since they're usually all about the self-preservation/interest.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. What a nasty creature she is.
