If Kate considers herself a celebrity because of her children, then she has used her body to advance her career. I'd say if you have to beg Playboy to let you be in their magazine, you don't get in. They always go after the ones that are harder to get. That's why it's Playboy and not Hustler/Screw/Juggs.

You're right; the article only says that Hef said he wouldn't put her in Playboy "when asked." They didn't say who asked. Most likely just someone interviewing him. Who knows if Kate has ever asked.
