Pretty freaking cool!

I like the one where the bullet looks like it missed, but then you see the other half of the bullet rotate up.

So, when I slice the bullets coming at me in half, I can expect two entry wounds.

That just doesn't seem fair.

The Last Samurai Part II

I didn't want to spoil it but it ends with a 20 megaton nuke in a Samurai village.

And there sat a burned, disfigured and half melted Samurai worrior next to the perfect bloom (before the tree got vaporized) crying.

No, no, no. You've got it all wrong.

After the evil Japanese imperialists nuke the samurai, the radiation somehow causes the samurai to mutate and they fuse together to form one big samurai. This giant samurai goes on a rampage, singlehandedly-destroying the imperialist army, and then heads for Tokyo.

though in a big fight i would rather have the .50 machine gun! mowing down the people is better then cutting one in half at a time.

Mythbusters did a a Katana vs. 50 cal machine gun test well, and they found that the Katana cannot slice through the barrel of a .50 cal machine gun no matter how hard you swing it. The sword shatters before the barrel does!

.50 cal FTW!

My katana is within reach at home. I don't have to worry about the kids shooting themselves with it. Since I wouldn't go looking for an intruder if they somehow got by the dogs, they would have to come to me. Confronting someone in the home at night is stupid, for either party. Those defending have a distinct advantage as you know.

I remember going to some medieval castle on a field trip and they had all sorts of weapons... the guide showed us a katana and he said it can slice through an arm protected by chain mail armor like a hot knife through butter. Pretty cool :)

Sure if the person wearing the chain mail sticks his arm out flat for the katana to fit perfectly straight. Otherwise the chain mail would deflect the sword away from the persons arm. A katana would be worthless in a fight against some one with any kind of armor.

Now if someone along the way invents a katana shooting machine gun.... :p

It is pretty neat that it can withstand 6 machine gun rounds at (i cant remember the speed) before the integrity of the sword deteriorates. But in the end, machine gun wins!
