Kaspersky stops keylogging with virtual keyboards

The thing I'm wondering about is if the device is meant to only protect against hardware key loggers that are plugged in between the motherboard ps/2 port and the keyboard itself. There are definitely software keyloggers out there that don't rely on a hardware device to capture keystrokes. Would the Kaspersky software protect against that?

Useless, folks. The loggers these days not only trap the BIOS scan codes but also take screenshots and captures. Looks like snake oil...

Ive looked at a bunch of these, and they work until there are enough of them out for the keyloggers to target. As the article correctly stated "For some reason I envision the keylogger of the future which will capture the location of the mouse at various click points and try to match it to a virtual keyboard."

So, there will be a window while this is effective, but expect it to close quickly if enough people use it.

Then I do screen capture and basic ocr, the bar is trivial if this is widely used (I just need to break it once, and its broken for all)
