Kaspersky Labs AVP doesnt work in win xp?

i just downloaded the latest AVP from kaspersky.com and installed it on my win xp. as soon as the installer was done, i got a blue screen then windows restarted, upon restarting as soon as i logged in it gave me a blue screen again and restart... etc.... so i ended up using ( last known good configuration ) to get back into win xp.

did i do something wrong? or AVP just doesnt work with win xp yet? anyone else tried it?
