Kaspersky AV licenses...includes upgrades?

I've been using Kaspersky for a year now and its time for a new subscription. If I purchase a 3-year license, will that include free updates when they move to 7.0, 8.0, etc?

How long was 5.0 out before 6.0 was released?

It seems that 6.x is vastly superior to 5.x, and I would assume that the next version will have the same bump in superiority. Meaning, if I have to pay for the version updates, it might make more sense to just buy a 1-year license and upgrade when a newer version is out.

Am I way off base here?

Your v5 license allows a free upgrade to v6 (I did it myself). Version 5 has been out for about 4-6 months

Your three year license is good for any of the versions that they release during the license time span
