Ok I have done a full scan and nothing shows up.

When I open up a directory a Kaspersky pop-up says some thing about explorer...Allow or Block action.

Try to remember what the message was, it will help to determine the source.

Generally I think it's some kind of dll module attached to Explorer. Lots of legitimate software have such behaviour.
