Kaspersky 2008 KIS unable to log in to remote desktop

On my home computer, I am running KIS2009. I am now unable to log in through remote desktop.

I have opened up ports 3389 in my router and told the router to forward them to my computer's IP address.

I can get onto my laptop, connect to my same LAN, and get access to my computer through RDC.

Once I get outside of my LAN, I am no longer able to get into my LAN.

I have tried disabling everything in Kaspersky and this still did not help.

I have made sure that even the Windows Firewall has all the appropriate permissions even though it is constantly disabled.

I have made sure that I have gone to the remote settings and allowed my specific user account to be accessed.

Is there anything else that you guys can think of that might be causing this to fail?

Just for grins let's let the network crew take a crack at this, if you don't get much of a response just let me know and I'll move it back to Security, or JackMDS can move it-Oakenfold PC Gaming and Security Mod

Have you run KIS @ Home before? Did you upgrade from 08 and it won't function now? I'm assuming that everything was okay at some point, what changed?
