So last night I was at this gamer convention thing, and my friend asked if I could help out on the door, so i grabbed a staff shirt and started taking names and stamping hands. After the crowd slowed down I noticed this collection box for Children in Need sitting in a corner with no money in it, and nobody asking anyone for donations, so I decided to work the crowd a bit. I went round every single person there and collected well over £100 in about half an hour.
So I go back to the door and put the collection box down, feeling pretty good, and literally 2 minutes later the raffle gets drawn, and guess what? I win! A couple of games consoles, some games, a big box of lego, all this geeky stuff. So I head up to the stage to a round of applause and when I get there I realize I am still wearing a staff shirt... doh! I had to give all that shit back. Even though I wasn't really part of the club running the thing. Karma owes me some toys.
