This pushes him way to the bottom of the draft if he's lucky. There were white QBs that ran faster than him.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I hope his next job is asking "You want fries with that?"

I don't think anyone honestly thought he could join the NFL 2 whole years after his last game.

Why do these college/high school athletes continue to shoot themselves in the foot by accepting money when they are not supposed to? As if the hoe train of women lined up outside their rooms to fsck them wasn't enough.

Atheletes = stupid

OSU Star running back in 2003, got benched and kicked off the team for accepting passing grades, when he didn't go to class and taking money from sponsors.

Because they are poor as hell, yet as big as stars or bigger than a lot of the NFL stars, making millions. I don't think they should take money... but I see their side of it. It's tough being a big star, when you drive a Kia.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Auburn star Ronnie Brown dazzled scouts with a workout that included unofficial 40-yard times of 4.32 and 4.40. Brown also caught the ball well and may have established himself as the top tailback prospect, ahead of former Auburn teammate Carnell "Cadillac" Williams

This has been apparent to most Auburn fans for awhile. Ronnie Brown has long been considered the better back even though Carnell got all the press.

i dont care what he runs, i dont care what he benches, what he squats etc. he is a liability issue for ANY team that wants him. hes a basket case. will do anything he is told but doesnt know whats right and wrong. no team will draft him not jsut because he is out of shape and piss poor performer, but he is a liability issue and they know he will get in trouble at some point.

That's because Ronnie can run, block, catch, and do all the other little things. Carnell could just run and catch (but not as well as Ronnie). The best coaching move Tubberville ever made was hiring the new offensive coordinator last season.

Arkansas QB Matt Jones (6'6" 245lbs) ran a 4.37 and 4.42 in the fourty. He's being projected as a WR though, not a QB. That guy is a freak and won Arkansas so many games the last four years by himself.

Don't think he'll get drafted. Somebody should invite him to camp as a walk-on.

He does look like he could lose some body fat if he expects to run faster.

Yeah, I hope Jones does well in the NFL.

As for Ronnie....he's a complete back whereas Carnell is more of a pure running back.

Lol, there are offensive linemen out there that could smoke him. How the stupid have fallen. Combine that with his glass shoulder and he's not going anywhere.

saw this the other day, now that you guys are talking about how fat he looks, you're right. I didn't even notice that. What an idiot, you simply cannot show up in that condition when there is so much crap surrounding you and you have *everything* to prove in that one workout.

If karma bit every college player that took money then we'd have only high school graduate basketball players left to watch. And baseball, I guess.

If karma bit him for anything, it was wasting taxpayer money with his case in various courts.

Would that I had the opportunity to ride out 2 years as a poor student in order to become a multi-millionaire.
The guy is just an attention whore, and that flaw cost him plenty.

amazing that his handlers let him show up for the workout if they knew his times were in that range, which leads us to this:

He's either calling his own shots, which is scary, or he has morons for agents/advisors.

Most guys don't even work out at the combine if they know they are in the top couple of rounds, they instead have private workouts...

Clarett has a workout on March 8 (I think that is the right day), but there is no way he's going to be able to do much in a week and a half..

I think it would only be fitting if he became Mr. Irrelevant, the last guy picked in the draft this year.
