Story here.

According to the Times, Karl is a bit more jovial around the WH and doing his usual routine meeting wise and the like. Apparently, he is even preparing Election 2006 stuff, which was put on hold during Fitzie's investigation.

Is it possible that the big investigation in to Rove is done?

At any rate it is nice to see Rove getting something done again. After all, he is the President's top advisor.

Oh thank God, I can't tell you how glad I am that Karl Rove is back to his usual self. Searching for another war hero to defame should help speed the process along :D

I can't wait till my children read about how crooked this man was, and is compared to the likes of Nixon.

No, the reality that Rove is back and better than ever :p

When you spend 2 years grasping for straws it is understandable to be a bit disappointed with the results of Fitzgerald's investigation.

When did it say the investigation was over?

The fact that Fitzie was only able to indict a ham sandwich after 2 years leads us to a plausible hypothesis to that conclusion.

If you are waiting for CBS to announce the investigation "Over" you might be waiting a while.

Good, we need more political strategies that consist of using xenophobia and not the actual capability of the candidate.

Rove probably figures it all stops at Libby.

Look, I know you Republicans like, well, everything Republican. But Karl Rove seems to be pushing it a little. He is the kind of guy that makes politics the dirty, dishonest business it is. It would appear that he broke no laws, at least that can be proven in court, but that doesn't make him a good guy. Don't forget that he engineered the personal attacks on McCain and Kerry over their distinguished war records, while supporting a candidate who's own "war record" was laughable at best. Sounds like a great guy, especially for the "Support the Troops" crowd.

Yeah, I think Karl Rove enjoys his work as much as Joseph Goebbels liked his.

Investigations take time.

CBS? The network for the old and ancient? I don't think I've ever watched that network. :)

Wow, I didn't know such slurs were allowed here. I noticed someone else got handled by the Moderators for posting similar gay type slurs.

I'm also not sure what Gannon has to do with this thread or Rove.

Then you ought to pay attention to what in the hell has been going on around you for the last 5 years.
