Karl Rove, on how the Obama administration handled the coup in Honduras:

"They let a cowboy president try to act in an extra-constitutional way to violate a fundamental principle in the Constitution, all without having done their homework in advance."
Oh, Karl, the ironing!

He was on Fresh Air yesterday.

it was....interesting.

The irony when people are asked "Why are you against homosexual marriage?" and they respond with "I'm for protecting traditional marriage; I'm not against homosexuals."

...I don't think they spend much time listening to the things that actually come out of their mouths. :D

I loved it when Jon Stewart put a pair of glasses on a ham and held it up next to an actual picture of Rove. The resemblance was uncanny . . . canned ham uncanny!

I certainly think Karl Rove is a criminal, and I certainly hope the evidence is finally found to convict him for even a small subset off his criminal activities. Even 5% of his crimes should be enough to net Karl a few life sentences, and on the civil law side, those who were victims of his smear campaigns could recover amounting to damages about a million times his current assets.

As an American taxpayer, Karl Rove has cost the USA multi trillions in blood and treasure. And for those abroad, Karl Rove has been instrumental in killing many hundreds of thousands of people, while making the lives of millions decidedly worse.

Most people are revenue neutral, a rare few bless the world with their birth and accomplishments, but Karl Rove can now best contribute to the world with his death.
And thereafter the world will be a better place without him.

Turdblossum they call him, a nickname Karl Rove has earned many times over.

In fictional literature, they best call such wormtounge.

I think that was Stephen Colbert that did that.

Obama rushed to support a wannbe dictator while at same time saying he didn't want to look over-reaching saying anything about Iran beating its own in the streets. The Honduran military did exactly what is was supposed to do under their constitution. Of course Slim Shady had a problem with that since he's down with winking off thugs while throwing allies and Constitution down the well.

Surely if just 5% of his crimes can land him in jail for life. You can present that to the DOJ and get that done right? Oh wait, his biggest crime is beating two hapless Democrat presidential candidates with Bush. Which luckily isnt a crime. But I am sure with people like LL at the helm that can be made to happen.

I came on in the middle of that show. Not knowing who the speaker was, I was extremely impressed the way he consistently changed the phrases used to convey the message he wanted to convey, like he did with the anti-gay marriage. Before I figured out it was Rove I had already decided he was one of the ultimate salesmen of all time. I'd sew my wallet in my pocket before visiting him regarding a used car.

Also, I had never know his step-father was (allegedly per Karl) gay. Definately an extremely touchy topic for him.

Hmmm, I thought you guys claimed Dick Cheney was President all along. Maybe Rove was his VP? :D

Dick was the ventriloquist with his hand constantly up the Dub's ass making him seem (such sweet ironing!) lifelike. Rove wrote the words.

It's takes a village to raise a village idiot to the Presidency and pretend! :D

One thing about Rove, he never made Bush thank himself for inviting himself to the White House to meet himself. So I guess Rove is at least nicer than Obama's TelePrompter . . .

That man is phenomenal at moving masses of idiots. I'm perpetually amazed how great he is at swaying public opinion.

Even things like this
The irony when people are asked "Why are you against homosexual marriage?" and they respond with "I'm for protecting traditional marriage; I'm not against homosexuals."

are brilliant. Crafted and calculated response that doesn't say anything bad and brings in a talking point.

Which modern politician hasn't used a teleprompter?

I'll be waiting right here for your list.

OH, and perhaps you are forgetting how our President went into a room full of hundreds of Republicans without any possible teleprompter, took them ALL on, and owned them like ALL.

Stick THAT on your talking points sheet, Sally. :D

Big difference between using a TelePrompter and thanking yourself for inviting yourself to the White House to meet yourself. It's like the difference between everyone driving a car and one idiot driving through the back of his garage.

I assume you are speaking of the Health Care Summit? There were less than forty politicians total - but if you think Obama owned them then it's not surprising that you also think there were "hundreds of Republicans".

Only Karl Rove would think its Kosher to out a CIA agent, just to advance a political agenda. But like Perkenose says, its takes a village to advance such stupidity. Karl Rove was only a part, we must never forget the other morally bankrupt actors like Dick Cheney, Verysleezy Rice, and so many others. The only comparable point in recent history that saw a such a set of serial liars may be the cabal Hitler assembled.
