Karaoke DVDs

Hmm...just bought two karaoke DVDs on the whim and I'm not even sure my DVD player can handle it. It can play the disc, but I don't see any input port for a microphone. Any ideas?

Thanks. Ach, I don't think my DVD player has the option then. So for it to be compatible with karaoke DVDs, it just needs an input to plug the microphone in?

Would I be able to plug the microphone into the TV or anything like that? How about a computer with a special adapter?

Just looked through the PDF manual offered on Amazon. It says it can play the different tracks on a karoake dvd, such as with and without vocals...so does that mean I can actually plug the microphone in somewhere and sing along? If not, then that's weird how they only offer half-ass support for karaoke.

I have a PC by my tv that I use to watch movies on. I go from mic to pc (for amplification) to speakers and I just play the karaoke dvd like a normal dvd. It's a little ghetto, but it gets the job done.
