I was very interested in this game until they decided to omit online co-op and hastily rush it out rather than delaying it to add some polish. I'd still like to play it but it has dropped down on my list, hopefully I can try this out tonight. I have a feeling this game may at least be worth a rental.

Has anyone on here played this game, or the demo?

I gathered long ago that there wasn't much interest in this game around here, and we know that it is supposed to be pretty mediocre. But now we can at least see for ourselves without having to put any money down. 🙂
 
I played the demo last week on the PS3 and it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting... but I went in with pretty low expectations considering all the controversy surrounding the game. I played the demo in co-op and it wasn't all that bad. Doubt I would buy it, but I'll likely Gamefly it just to play through the co-op campaign.

Co-op is the main reason I want to check it out. If it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't even download the demo.

Online coop was one reason I was going to dive blindly in... but OOPS! None of that here!
 
The hype for this game was BS, i got it from goozex thinking it was about robbing banks and heists, but theres 1 mission in the campaign involving that. Developers need to stop worrying about hype and put out quality games.

Keep adding to the list of disappointing games

If you compare just single player, I enjoyed Kane and Lynch more than Gears of War. There. I said it. Similar game play style too.

I played the demo. It sucks.
You know a game is trying far too hard when the very first word uttered from a character's mouth is "Fuck".

Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing.. The guy dropped like 7 F-bombs in 2 sentences, I just rolled my eyes.

Anyway, downloading the demo was a waste of time.. Terrible game
 
besides the langauge the demo was ehh. ok. i give it like a 5 or 6. nothing special. just seems like and average game. the cursing is just like any movie. watch superbad or boondock saints or even snatch. they curse all the time. the aim controls was my only issue. i dont think the game is THAT bad but its not great. just average.
 
I still haven't tried it because I just haven't had the time. Maybe I'll get around to it in the next couple of days, otherwise I will be overwhelmed with known quality games to play with. 🙂
