Hi,

I'm wondering about which case I should buy for my new system. I have an X2 4800+ waiting so what should I do? The Cooler Master case looks awesome! I can hold 9 fans. The Thermaltake Kandalf is great as well. The CM 830 does not come out till Dec 6th though. Any opinions?

However, this is coming from personal experience, the CM 830 isn't out yet, and the Kandalf is an AWESOME case. It's got wonderful airflow, a window, locks, the silver model (the one I got) is pure aluminum, meaning it's SUPER light (and can work as a humungous heatsink), and it looks cool to boot. it's well worth the $200 IMO. It is a very nice case. Can't say much about the 830, or really CM cases in general.

My vote's on the kandalf. Did I mention it comes with 2 80mm fans and 2 120mm fans, and has a seperate area for the PS that's away from the motherboard/CPU, doesn't need tools, is BTX compatable, has FULLY customizable bays and fans, is watercooling ready, fanless certified, and is just plain a great design? not that the CM 830 isn't, mind you, but I like the kandalf.

*drools* I would defnitely get the stacker if you can wait. 9 120mm fans and the 4 hard drives in 3 slots would make me get it. I have the TT Armor and it is exactly the same except without the cover, which I find pretty ugly anyways. I love my case, spacious, lots of room for hard drives. Few gripes I have are the way the power supply needs to be installed, you have to install it vertically and its hard to get it in there, and the hard drive cage that occupies the drive bays is extremely annoying to remove with my DFI board in it. Have to unplug almost everything.
