He's had this for well over a decade.

Also, he probably has mercury poisoning from a young age, because he liked to play with it on his desk at school.

Also, he hit the heron super hard when in college.
I will say, Mercury is super fun to play with. Luckily when I've done it, it's been in proper PPE.

I thought Nate left 538?

He did and he has his own website with his own political algorithm (apparently he had negotiated that he retains rights to it as intellectual property - incase he ever left or was fired by abc/538)

I remember buying small vials of mercury when I was a elementary school kid. It was sold as toy for kids...

We played with it with our bare hands.

I remember one occasion in school when a thermometer broke in the classroom and lots of kids spent ages playing with the pool of mecury on the floor, while the teacher made desperate attempts to get them to stop doing that.

Also I still periodically get nervous about those time-release mercury capsules implanted in so many of my teeth. Every few years I search to see if any new research has appeared on that topic, but it seems nothing much has (though a few years back they got as far as advising pregnant women not to have fillings put in, after evidence showed the mecury could cross the placental barrier).

It seems like worrying about such things is a route to madness, though - there's already all the lead I ingested living above a main road as a child, or from the pipes in houses I've lived and drunk water in. Living is just a slow process of contamination and poisoning.

And then there's this, a whole new thing to worry about...

Did you wear a protective full face mask too? Coz mercury vapors.
Yes, full face respirator, coated tyvek, and coated gloves. I was working at a hazardous waste place at the time.

The time I did the most, we had a few gallons of it. Some of it was pooled in a bucket. Also had a ton research grade thermometers and thermostats.

Yep. I had a small vial for a long time as a kid. Got bored with it eventually…it’d spread everywhere, turn your skin kinda grey/green color.

Strange the things we did as kids that were abhorrently dangerous. Jarts, anyone? How about clackers? 🤪

Isn't inhaling mercury vapors or ingesting mercury where the real danger lies?
I believe just playing with mercury balls was not as dangerous.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

One of the largest sources of microplastics is from personal automobiles (the tire wear). Given everyone's alleged desire to have detached single family homes in neighborhoods that basically demand we individually drive ourselves everywhere, it seems like a problem that will not be easily solved.

True, but I think you need to broaden your definition of ingestion.

The ingestion while playing with it happens this way: kid plays with it and some small amt adheres to the skin, then kid rubs eyes, nose, face, etc.

That’s where the ingestion takes place. Much more insidious than simply drinking, licking it because you don’t realize it’s happening.

Not saying one exposure of this type is life threatening (but ain’t good in first place), but repeated exposures of this type can have significant consequences in some.

"Stay tuned?" I wouldn't tune into that guy if he were the only source of news on the planet. He's the most biased mutherfucker around. He has no opinions, no sources, he's a grinding spinning propaganda machine. When you boil him down there's nothing there but a pithy, brown, shitstain residue.

Meh, I wouldn't put much stock in that. They blame _everything_ they don't understand on "psychological stress". It's akin to saying "the invisible demons did it".
Psychological stress could be a more current version of what was bandied about considerably in psychiatric and psychology circles as "psychosomatic." Freud pretty much coined that. I wouldn't dismiss it. And Jr's sister having a case doesn't disprove psychosomatic origins. It strengthens the genetic argument but doesn't guarantee it at all. In any case, when I hear him I wish I didn't even before I manage to make any sense of his utterances simply because the very sound of his voice is offensive.

Except it got on your skin, then probably on your food while you eat. It is also always giving off vapors.

It can be absorbed through skin (slowly) but has a very low boiling point and can be inhaled at room temp. Your skin is generally warmer than room temp so it's a double-wammy. I would need to look up exposure limits but frequently playing with it could be bad. Once or twice probably not terrible. It doesn't go away or get processed by the liver or kidneys but rather accumulates in tissue.

I played on metal jungle gyms and never wore a bike helmet until I was an adult. Somehow, I survived.

If he dropped Vance, I would expect Tulsi before RFK.She fits better with his religious pandering.
Trump is so far behind now that he needs a real shake-up ... I think Tulsi i right on the money, he needs someone to speak for the both of them at rallies and what not... And that is neither Vance or RFK. 70% he drops Vance another 70% says it's Tulsi. :). (my nostradumbass predicts).
