Kalyway 10.5.2 on a Thinkpad T61

After many different attempts and following the guide here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=130425 I have installed Mac OS X multiple times, but keep getting a loop when it asks about importing data. As in it goes back to the welcome flash screen each time. I was wondering if maybe there was a way to add kexts to the installer that would PROBABLY fix this issue. Has anyone else had this issue? As this is a new area to me, please be specific so that I can understand. Not a programmer by any means. Thanks for any and all help.

so after much contortions as in rebooting countless times...i got it to work. have no idea how...guess it just decided to work.

why 10.5.2? does it update ok to 10.5.8? Do they not have hackintosh builds out of 10.6 yet?

I'm not sure if anyone has an easy to install 10.6 distro yet, but yes, 10.6 works on Hackintoshes.
