Your right, but i expect them to win and they will. My mistake for the pre-post and i will change it until victory that is. besides if Likud wins the other side will be f8****cked even more.

Do you follow Israeli politics? Likud is 3rd in the polls, labor has a bigger chance of winning if Kadima doesn't.

Since you just said in your last reply you seem to know what likud is in third.WTF reason did you even jump in here when you know yourself kadima will win the majority of the seats and olmert will be the new PM.

There is only 1 hour 40 minutes till the polls close then you can go stuff your mouth and youll see my first post before edited was correct.

kadima kadeeeema, kdima kadeeeema

Why is this thread dead because i did not agree with you. It has to be your words or the highway ?

No party in israels history has even won the 61 seats so even though kadima will win they wil have to form a coalition.

Seems that made more sense then your trolling garbage.

It now says the voting has ended.
http://news.yahoo.com/fc/world/israel

Projections by Israel's three main TV stations showed acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's centrist Kadima Party winning Tuesday's election but getting fewer seats than expected. The center-left Labor Party, a likely coalition partner for Olmert, came in a strong second. The hard-line Likud, which dominated Israeli politics for three decades and opposes Olmert's plan to withdraw from much of the West Bank, came in a distant third, according to polls broadcast immediately after voting ended.

Which candidate and in what party was the man who had been born in the old Soviet Union from?
He spoke fluent Russian, and with some 1 million Soviet Jews having immigrated to Israel
has the inside track
on having that block of people vote for him and his party association.
If the election turnout was lower than expected, a strong showing by his followers could be the
leverage in the direction of the Israeli Government for years to come.

Were not most of the Soviet immigrants settled into the West Bank or Gaza areas ?

Ah, Found it - Avigdor Lieberman, Far Right, we'll find out how he and his campaign may have
added to or subtracted from the Kadima dominance.

As long as Likud doesn't win, I'm happy. With them out of the picture things might (keyword: might) actually change for the better.

I think it's safe to revert my topic to what it was 3 hours ago. Now we shall see who will join his coalition. It wont be Likud.

I dont trust the Palestinians so i have two thoughts on this. I almost want likud to win and return and occupy all the west bank. I fear that after the new government disengages they will be forced to act harshly. Nothing at all came out of withdrawing from Gazabut i think regardless what is done eventually the Pals will mess up, so they will get whacked.

But i also feel that Israel get the heck out of there too because if you have been there there is no need for israel to hold on to that Wasteland and lose soldiers for nothing. I think after Olmert's plan disengages by 2010 and makes final borders then if the Pals still attack then they can just carpet bomb them.

Only time will tell. Lets hope i am wrong about some of my predicitons but i dont think i am.

Congrats Kadima !!!

Interesting Dynamics

A) Turnout Higher than Expected.

B) Kadima won fewer seats then expected.

C) Likud 11-12 seats - a distant third.

D) Leibermans Hard-Liners moved up to 3rd in the food chain.

E) Newer 'Pensioners' Party' with 6-8 seats expected to allign with Kadima.

Let the games begin.

While I fundamentally disagree with the Israeli land grab, they need something resembling a decent resolution.

It has long rung hollow the notion that the Israeli WALL was not a de facto border so why continue with the farce.

The ball is in Hamas court to do something constructive given the opportunity to "reclaim" a significant amount of Palestine.

On a positive note, I guess we can stick a fork in another Bush initiative . . . the Roadmap.

HAHA BBD, you got called an Arab. ;)

Its a fence not a wall. Whatever...

I have a fence in my backyard. Its four foot high and made of wood. If I rebuild it out of concrete 30 ft high and put in security cameras and guntowers to keep the squirrels out, then I would call it a wall.

Either way, if they do pull out of the West Bank, count on the Pali's Fing something up soon enough. They responded to Gaza nicely.
