Ka7-100 with Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold which is Causing Locking of Machine

Can you Help me.
I Have just got a new Ka7-100 motherboard and k-700 chip my system is as follows.

Ka7-100 Motherboard
k-700 Processor
Vodoo 3 2000
Sound Blaster AWE64
IBM 20.4 Gig ATA66 HDD
Hitachi CDRom
160 Meg Ram (1x128 & 1x32)

I have read the article on the freezing of the Ka7-100 amd Diamond MX300 card. I have also read the articles on the new Bios. I am currently on the rx bios and would like some help in stopping this locking of my machine

There's a FAQ there that addresses some soundcard incompatabilities the KA7 line has. The first thing I'd try is to go into the bios and change the option for the 15M > 16M video ram. I forget the actual option, but the FAQ on the website has the info there as well. I actually had my MX300 working fine on the abit, tho I still upgraded to a SBLive Value.
