k8v-mx motherboard supports which maximum cpu?

I have a k8v-mx motherboard with a Athlon 2800+ chip. What is the highest CPU I can upgrade this to? Does this motherboard support duo core?

It's Socket 754, so you could go up to an Athlon 64 4000+, just make sure to get a Socket 754 CPU, not 939 or AM2.

You cna find information like that at the motherboard manufacturers website. In Asus's case, choose Support, choose troubleshooting, choose CPU support. Use the drop down menus to show your mobo. MDE is incorrect in this case.

the ALL represents the PCB revision, 4 digits are BIOS rev's.

My laptop had a S754 4000+.
