Hello, I have a K8V deluxe MB, and recently purchased a Seagate Barracuda 200gb SATA hard drive. I installed it correctly and it is running, as in it has power going to it and is funtional. But. I am also using a normal WD 40gb ATA hard drive as my first drive. It has windows installed on it and all of my other stuff. When I start up windows and look for my new SATA drive it's no where to be found. In my BIOS I have that SATAboot set to enabled. Also, when I look in the bios under the boot section and Hard Disks, I see the drives listed as 1st: my WD ATA hard drive, then 2nd: the VIA SATA hard drive. The computer knows that it's there, but yet it doesn't. When I changed the SATA hard drive to the 1st position, the normal ATA drive cannot be selected as the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd boot device in the Boot Priority section. The same goes for when I have the SATA drive as the 2nd hard drive. I can only select either my ATA drive, Floppy disk, or CDrom as boot devices, no SATA disk listed. If anyone can give me a hand with this I would appreciate it, also if I can further explain it better if you don't understand, just ask.

Do you mean from a CD or just enable them in the BIOS. Cause I have an option in there to enable them in either RAID or something else, forget what it's called at the moment.

I just went back and looked at it, I can either enable it in RAID or Onboard IDE.

goto ASUS website and download the drivers for the Raid setup. Install the drivers. Once completed goto "manage" under mycomputer, then proceed to disk management. Fomrat disk. Setup complete.

Which one in specific should I be looking for? There are quite a few there that have stuff about RAID. Oh, and also, how do I actually install the drivers? I'm not sure about where they would go.
