K8V Deluxe - Bios Errors - PLEASE HELP!!

I am getting 2 error messages when i went to boot last night:

"Floppy Controller Failure"
"CPU Over Voltage Error"

This all happened when i went to install a 3.5" floppy drive onto my rig last night. i pluged everything in and when i rebooted i recieved these errors. Now everyime i reboot, i have to press F1 to get past the errors. The only OS's i have installed are Linux 64-bit and Windows 64-bit on one HDD. The other HDD's are freshly formatted for a clean install of windows xp home or pro. My problem now is the error messages and i can't install xp home because my 3.5" drive will not power on to install the third party scsi . Catch 22 huh? Is there a way to install XP home without using a floppy disk? I just want to install a 32-bit OS so i can update my bios. For some reason i think the bios is corrupted. Also, My volts 0 and my temps at 0 in the bios.

I Cleared Cmos, unpluged power for a few minites, but i still get error messages. I check the bios and the 3.5" drive is enabled.

My Bios is version 1008. Any Ideas? Do you think the power supply is shot? It's a 430true watt antec.

Yeah, tried another 3.5" drive and it still didn't work. I RMA'd out the board today so hopefully i will get it back soon. This is terrible not having my rig but oh well. I hope ASUS gets it right because i hear the new revision of the K8V board doesn't have the same network adapter and the one it comes with isn't so nice.

Looks like i might have to go to the bar instead.......🙂
