K8T890pro and Vinyl audio

I have been waiting for VIA Vinyl audio to show up in the latest generation of motherboards, but there has been no mention of it for months. WTF is with that! What happened to K8T890pro with good audio? AC'97 is unacceptable. Is the pro/vinyl chipset dead or what? Anybody have information?

I bought a Gainward VIA Vinyl PCI sound board for $35 at a retail store here in town. The motherboard manufacturers seem unwilling to step up and pay for premium audio of any kind. Soundstorm, VIA Vinyl aren't showing up on production boards.

I wonder if Via will have decent x64 support for the Vinyl line?

Today I saw the headline for the Shuttle SN25P. It will have VIA 24bit Vinyl audio and the nforce4 ultra chip. Nice to see, but I'm supprised it is in a SFF before ATX. It does look pretty too.
