This is my problem. I am looking for a mobo for my AMD64 processor. I need RAID, but it needs to work with ATA 100 drives. I have read pages upon pages and while the specs for mobos all seem to specify they support RAID, they don't specify if they support both SATA and normal ATA RAID. If someone can help me out here, this would be greatly appretiated.
Another, maybe slightly more stupid, question I have is about the nForce boards. Is there any correlation between having an nForce board and having a nVidia video card? Is there any advantage to this? Or is it just about the single chip as apposed to the North/Southbridge type chipset?
