I sold a K8Npro to a guy and he is getting the long beeps of a memory issue on boot up. I hadn't used the board in some time and had forgotten to UNoverclock it. It is up around 235ish fsb (I believe) and it needs the CMOS reset. There is no jumper on this board and I forgot how I did it originally. I had him pull the battery and short across the leads and tried the two posts...nada. I remembered it was tricky but is there something I am missing? I asked if he would send it back but he really needs it to work, not get reimbursed.

Can anyone help??

uhhhh, this doesn't sound good for you:

"With the K8N Pro you do niether. The board autonomously resets and reboots itself. In the event of a bad setting which causes POST to fail, the motherboard will go back to defaults, and reboot all on its own, no interaction required. The only reason you would even be aware of it happening is that it takes about 15 seconds for the board to come back online after commiting the changes, rather than the usual 5."
