Hi, i put together a system to watch netflix movies on my tv with
its a k8ngm2 mobo , amd64 3200,2x 512 ddr400,hitachi 80 gig sata2 7200rpm drive
winxp home and an ultra v series 350 watt psu
after reading the manual ,it stated to use a supply with a amp rating of greater then 18 amp on the 12 volt side
the ultra supply states 18 amp max on the 12 volt
before puting in the ultra psu i was using a 400 watt fortron
after installing the ultra i notced i high pitch whine that is intermitent as i scroll on the mouse
is this whine a sign that the system is underpowered
im just concerned i may damage the mobo
other then the whine the system boots and runs fine never hangs up or anything like that
