k8ngm2-fid onboard video won't work

I trading my system for a newer one. I took out a geforce 7600gs gfx card from the old one and put it in the new one. The problem is now the onboard graphics for my old system won't work. Everytime I install the forceware drivers it'll boot until the logon. At that point I'll get assorted errors. Sometimes I just lose the signal. Other times it will flicker on and off. Sometimes I'll get the logon screen but cannot actually logon. I just get the hand icon. It doesn't matter which forceware version I use. It always works fine until I install drivers.

My specs:

K8ngm2-fid board (with onboard geforce 6150)
WinXP Pro x64 (tried 32 bit also with the same results)
Maxtor 120GB hard drive
1GB Patriot Ram
