K8N SLI Platinum / K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI

I just today went to a shop and picked up what I thought to be a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI board. When I got home and checked the tag again, it was K8N SLI Platinum(!?).

I can't return the board since the shop doesn't exchanges opened packages. What am I missing over the K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI board by buying this K8N SLI Platinum board? Is there much difference between them?

The immediate differences that I noticed was the lack of the Marvell LAN solution and Silicon Image's SATA raid. Are there any others?

Are MSI K8N SLI Platinum and MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI different mobos?

I have MSI K8N SLI Platinum. In the user guide, it says:

2nd PCI Express Lan supports 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet by Marvell 88E8053 (only for K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI). - (page 1-3)

The connectors on the mobo for SATA 5 & 6 are also missing.

I thought there were:

1 - K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI
2 - K8N Neo4 Platinum
3 - K8N Neo4/SLI (not Platinum!)

I looked for SLI and Platinum together and bought it. It turned out to be K8N SLI Platinum. WTF???

I will post some pics soon.

What country are you in? It appears the TW site markets the boards differently, and even different boards than here. The K8N Neo4 SLI here in the U.S. is the Platinum they sold you, and the K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI from the U.S. site, has the Marvell and SI. Doesn't appear they even have a Neo4 Platinum equivalent for the market there? Yet they have that K8N SLI that uses the ALC850 instead of the hardware 24bit SBLive for the audio, no such beast for the north american market so far.

The boards are imported. I thought the source was the US but apparently it is somewhere else. It cost me around $220. It is a platinum board because it has a black PCB which is what the Platinum boards use. The audio chip is the creative one, not the ALC850.
