some suggested tome that i should get the msi K8N Neo2 Platinum. will this motherboard work right out of the box with my amd athlong 64 3200+ 90nm winchester skt 939 cpu? are there any advantages or disadvantages this motherboard has over a asus, gigabyte or abit similar nforce 3 motherboard?
 
Its the fastest nForce3 mobo there is, and its got a nice feature set to boot. Plus its not as expensive as some of the others. I don't know about the abit or the asus nforce3 boards, but i know the gigabyte one is know to have issues with some ram.
I don't know if it will work right out of the box with a 90nm A64. The newer ones probably do, but for the older ones you will probably need to do a bios flash. And sence you can never really tell if you will get a new or an old one, you can't be sure it will work right out of the box.
 
the ram i have is corsair xms i think, it been awhile since i check what kind it was but it 3200ddr and i know it rated for cas 2 and it not the value series ones.. i have there twinx part # cmx512-3200LL
