K8N Neo2 Platinum WinXP won't install on SATA

Okay, I can install if I use an EIDE drive.

Oh, I do have the newest bios also.

Pull the EIDE drive and leave my two SATA drives in. System recognizes both and goes through installation fine till after reboots where it would begin installing the OS but goes back to the delete partition, format partition, install windowsXP screen again instead and picking yes to install it gives you the message about it being a bad thing to install multiple OS on the same drive etc.

Next try this time I install the SATA / RAID drivers (Checked and I have newest) well this time it boots back up to the same area as before to install windows XP (the step I already did) but now it cannot see the drives at all.

I am lost as to what the problem is here. I am reinstalling my OS and last time gave up on this exact same problem and used my EIDE drive for the OS instead but this time I want to just use my SATA drives like everyone else. As far as I can tell i have done everything people say to do. HELP

Try using only one SATA drive. Also make sure you are using the Nvidia SATA controller.

I had probloms initially, when it loaded all of the drivers, it would just hang at the screen that sezz starting windows.

I am using the nvidia SATA controller. Will try with just one SATA drive hooked up.
I do get the following error but didnt think it was the problem since windows XP can see the HD's initially. Bios doesnt see the SATA HD's either apparently since I changed over to the newest bios/removed my Eide drive. XP even formats the drive/s preparing them for OS installation. It is all bizzarro land.

PXE-E61 media test failure (Doesnt matter which SATA drive I use either one will get this error).

Remember that if I install the OS on an Eide drive I can add the SATA drives later and they work perfectly. They refuse to be used as the OS drives though.

Looks like I solved the problem by restoring bios defaults after that things worked like I expected them to.
