K8N neo2 onboard lan not recognized

XP Pro does not detect either of the two onboard lan controllers, I dont know how to install the drivers I have found hidden on the cd. I used the cd to install audio drivers, but was never given option to install lan drivers.

I could point XP to the disk if it had detected the controllers and asked me fro drivers.

When you go into device manager, are your two network devices there? Do they have an X or an exclimation point next to them?

to further that..

Right Click -> Properties
Reinstall Driver
Search Automatically.

This should search the CD-ROM, or if the option to specify location is there, Browse to the corret folder on the CD, and click next.

Voila.. instant LAN.
