Have anyone expirienced this type of problem using an Apaptec controller and the MSI K8N Neo2 ?

It has been working very well. (Last time i installed windows the system had a nForce2 Mboard from Asus)
But due to diskfaliure i had to reinstall Windows.
And thats when the trouple started.
I have tried everything it just cant find the HDs connected to this controller when i try to install WinXp og Win2K.
It reads the driver i supply it with when i press F6 duing setup.
And i have tried a different driver version.
I moved it to a different PCI slot.
Nothing worked.
Does anyone have a sugestion of what to do ?
System:
Mboard bios: v1.3
2 x Maxtor Diamond 9+ 120 Gb SATA (Disconnected at this point)
2 x Maxtor Atlas 10KIV 36 Gb
Adaptec 2110S SCSI Raid Controller
CPU AMD64 3500+
Memory 2 x 512 Mb Cruscial Basilix 3200
GPU: MSI 6800GT
