It seems that i haven an issue or two with my K8N Neo2 Platinum 939.

The first problem is with my audio system. It's an Altec Lansing from dell. I'm not sure which model number. Basically my problem is when i plugged it into the back of my mobo, only one of my speakers is playing. The left speaker is playing as if all the sound is coming out of it while my right and sub is extremely low. I've plugged my speakers into the front speaker jacks of my case and it seems to work fine there. I also tried to plug my old sound card i had from dell into the PCI slot and it doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My second issues isn't really an issue. It is with the game Half Life 2. After installation i loaded the game and it actually took a good 30 mins for me to get pass the load screen. After that initial 30 mins it only takes about 30 seconds to load into the game now. Anyone know what's going on with this?

Yeps, im a Newbie. My first built system. lol

Hmm, for your speakers, do you have the front audio ports plugged into the motherboard? I had the same problem, apparently MSI doesn't like it when you have the front ports plugged in and are using the back ones, it's one or the other I guess. Try completely unplugging them and see what happens.

As for the game, what kind of hard drive do you have?

Awesome. Thanks for the Tip. Im going to shower and try it. But that really defeats the purpose of having both and why i picked this mobo. well it's no biggie. I just wouldnt like a wire hanging in front of my case. Looks kinds stupid.

I just bought my harddrive on sale at best buy for 36 bucks after rebates. It's a western digital 7200rpm IDE.
I also had a problem installing World of Warcraft on the western digital harddrive(slave). I'm not exactly sure if it was the harddrive or the DVD drive. All i know is i switched from my slave drive to my master drive to install world of warcraft and i switched to my CD-RW drive to install the game. And it installed without a problem.

Heh sorry I can't really answer your game problem, I just asked to question trying to lead someone else into answering your question :p

But anyway, I don't think you got my idea...You know how the connectors from the front audio ports travel through the case and plug into JAUD1? Completely unplug anything that's in JAUD1 and give it a whirl.

However the problem I had was a bit different, my sound wouldn't play at all until I unplugged JAUD1. So we might be on two different boats here, but give it a try and tell me what happens.

EDIT: Oh and what sound card do you have?

Ok. I use the Audigy2 ZS but I don't think it's a sound card problem.

Awesome! Thanks for the help Mrivle but it was actually that my friend pluged all the little connector thingies in wrong. I just took all the jaud1 stuff out and redid it and everything works fine. =D My only issue now is that half life thing.
