K8N Neo Network Problems

OK, I've been fighting this since I installed the system. It appears that the onboard NIC is crap! Trying to use the onboard nic, my network transfers are awful. I'm talking around 5 minutes to transfer a 20 MB file!!! I installed another 10/100 network card in the system and it works great??

Is there something I am doing wrong? I've tried changing the settings to force the integrated NIC to use 100 Full Duplex or Half Duplex instead of autosensing (since my router is only 100 mb), but no luck. I haven't installed any NVidia Firewall software so I'm not sure what is slowing it down.

If anyone can give me some help, I would appreciate it.

First, I assume this is a K8N Neo Platinum?
Second, have you installed the latest chipset drivers from nVidia?
I would do the following:
(1) DL Driver Cleaner
(2) Uninstall any/all mobo drivers
(3) Boot into safe mode: run the applicable nVidia driver cleaner modes & the CAB Cleaner as well
(4) Reboot: install latest chipset drivers from nvidia.com

If that doesn't take care of it, go from there.
The GBe built into my K8N Neo Plat works perfectly, never any trouble. GL

Hmm, not the Platinum version 🙁

I've tried this on a clean install of windows. Install Windows XP then the latest drivers and test it. No luck.

Anybody else?
