Sorry to bother everyone, but I can't seem to find a "recommended ram" list within the Asus site. Won't be over-clocking--just want good, stable and reasonably fast stock performance without getting spendy. Planning on getting a 3000+ and hope to have the build go as smoothly as possible.

In general I've found this motherboard to be fairly forgiving on the ram front, pretty much any PC3200 I've tested in it that had at least 333 timings worked fine (I tried PDP systems 1GB modules, Crucial Balastix, some Corsair Value select w/ Infineion chips, and some Buffalo Winbond CH5 based memory, all worked w/out a hickup) I think for running stock speed pretty much any PC3200 that will operate at 2.5 to 2.7 Volts will work fine.

I wouldn't worry too much on gettin LL ram, the difference is not that big compared to regular ram. I would recommend some Corsair Value Select PC-3200 ram, no probs with my A64+ and MSI board.

The cas 2.5 Corsair Value Select seems to be a good choice for fairly inexpensive but quality memory.
