K8N-E Deluxe prob

I assembled my new system with following items :
mobo : Asus K8N-E Deluxe
cpu : AMD64 3000+
cooler : Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu
ram : corsair pc3200 512Mb
graka : (old) geforce 3 ti 200
hdd : maxtor 80Gb, 8mb cache

Now, i can't get my windows xp installed on it.
Just after i've chosen to format the disk to install xp on it (in the blue-screen section of the installation), the power goes down.

Anyone who knows why and how to prevent it from doing that?

Sounds like a PSU issue. What brand and model power supply is it? is the 4 pin 12v connector plugged into the board?

Sorry for the late reaction, but the PSU is an AOPEN 400W-model, and the connector is plugged in.
The good news : I managed to install XP on it, and it seems to run well now.
Anyhow, thx for the reply 🙂
