I'm looking at the Soltek K890Pro-939 or a board with Nforce4. As I understand it, they're both pretty balanced. Does anyone have a strong opinion one way or another?

The Soltek K890-Pro 939 grabbed my attention too. I'm hoping someone who's gotten one might post their opinions of it here.

IMHO, the main attraction for the Soltek board is the passive heatsink on the northbridge. That will make it a good platform to build a quiet PC on. The K8T-800 was also the best performing socket 939 AGP motherboard at stock speed. From the review I read a couple of weeks ago it looks like they added some more features and extras to this PCI-E version too.

My soltek board had bad caps. just a heads up.

(s478 board)

Maybe they've improved their caps since then..
