K8 heatsink question

I have a Thermaltake Beetle on my system right now, I'm going to get a AM2 MB in the near future. But I really, really don't want to change heatsinks.

bolts down, it has a bar that holds the heatsink down. It's pretty heavy, and very. After doing some research I think I'm going to end up getting a 939 X2 processor instead so I can keep my heatsink with no issues.
 
Yeah bolt-thru heatsinks can't really be adapted too well to AM2. I'm sure there is a way to do it but it takes some heavy modding, or some companies have offered separate mounting hardware for their current heatsinks.
