I just built a new system using this board and I am having a problem with the mouse .I have everything set up pretty good and it runs stable but for some reason when I shut down the computer the mouse stays on !?? Its a logitech optical mouse with usb support I am not using with the usb , I have no idea why it is doing this , could it be the power button not set up right or the bios ? Any info on this will be of great help !
thanks again

Holy sh!t, it's POSSESSED!! 😀

I've never head of this before - I'd love to have this awesome feature!

Maybe if this is a USB mouse, and the MB support soft-power-on (turning the computer on from the Keyboard), the USB bus is kept alive while the computer is shutdown - so that the computer is able to detect the Power key from a USB keyboard???? 😀

If this is the case - try using BIOS to disable soft-power-on.

- just a thought

The keyboard does have a buton to shut it down but its not set up , anyway Ill check for the shut down and see if that helps , nothing is installed as usb the keyboard and mouse both are in their normal ports . It is making me freaking crazy to know why this happened !

There is power to the usb because I have tried another piece of hardware(gamepad) and it worked fine , I done like to use my mouse in the usb port , old school I guess I am not sure as to why it is doing this everything checks out fine except this damn mouSE!!!!!
I need a better mouse trap !!!
