I updated my Bios and now i cannot get the computer to turn on.
I have a k7vta3 ver 8.
I followed the directions set forth by the website and now it wont turn on.
I have reset the cmos as well as removed and put back all of the cards.
In the manule it states something about bios jumpers but does not say where they are or how to place them to reset it.

Any help would be appreciated on this fix.

I would remove the battery a few seconds to be sure you have reset the bios. If the bios is toast, sometimes you can get your system to post with an old pci video card, if you have one.

are you talking about the cmos battery, or something else that i havent seen (cmos is the only one i know about but as fast as things have upgraded who knows).
If this is the case i have already tried that or should i pull it and try to turn it on and turn it back off and put it back in. As for the video card i will have to see if i have one around here i should but not 100% sure where at the moment.

Looks like it's time to get your old chip re-flash or purchase a new replacement chip..
