I just picked up my new mobo and when i went to install it i ran into a rather large problem. When I plug in all the front panel connectors (Power, LED, etc.) and turn the system on, the system will power up for a second and then it will die. I swapped out the PSU and that is not the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Any beeps?

If there are none....ensure that the speaker connector is in the right way, it will likely be one of these not seated properly (in order of likeliness):

1. AGP Card
2. Memory
3. Processor
4. Problem with board itself.

Perhaps the processor heatsink is not seated correctly. Use a flashlight from the opposite side of the heatsink to see if you can see any gap between the CPU and heatsink.

Got a fan hooked up to the CPUFAN connector?

Also a good thing to check, as some boards wont come on without an RPM monitoring fan hook up to the CPU fan header.
