Crucial Mem, (2) 256 PC2100
both sticks are identical crucial memory. ive loaded the setup defaults in the bios and and such [to see if a lower speed would help the ram].
The computer will just lock up and reboot itself [the power just 'clicks' off] in both Win2k and XP. However, safe mode w/o networking will work in XP.
I dont think its power because ive taken everything off of the computer except for the basics.
The sticks of memory are GOOD becuase the computer works fine with only one stick.
However, I took the computer apart this morning and last night and it worked FINE the first time i booted it, but when i rebooted, it wouldnt work.
I moved the sticks around to diff slots, but same problem. The bios ram count up is fine.
Rawrghh!
Any ideas??

i just wanted to add that the computer works 100% fine w/ only ONE stick.
