I configured the BIOS that came with it and I don't know how to install W98SE. I got it to start to install then it reboooted and kept telling me to "hit any key to reboot". WTF does that mean? Am I doing something wrong? Bios recognizes everything I have including the T-bird 700mhz. While I got to the part in W98SE installation where it says would I like to partition the HDD was where I got problems but I think it is probably something simple(i hope) Thanks in advance, Matt

Have you done this before?
Anyway, you haven't provided enough information about the stage of you trouble. Thus, let me tell you what I do (oldfashion, but sturdy).
Take Win98 startup floppy. Let the system boot from it (to speed things up, I select "no CD support" at this moment). at the A:\> prompt start fdisk.exe. create primary partition, enable large disk support, set partition active (all those options are in fdisk menu). reboot as requested. format the disk by typing format C: command at the prompt. You can transfer the system at this point by adding /s switch at the command (i.e. a:\> format c: /s) then you can boot into dos form HD. restart again choosing the cd support this time. run setup from win98 CD. If your hardware support bootable cd (i never figured out how to use this thing) you might skip some steps and do it all in fewer steps. Anyway, the iportant thing is to create partition, set it active and format HD. Good luck.
