K7T Turbo-RAID users: cant get dos to see my hardrives

i have the k7t turbo raid and i have my hardrives connected to the promise raid controller, both as master. problem is, when i boot from boot disk to format my drive it doesnt see it. i dont want to run raid, just want to use them as 2 extra ata100 contollers. how can i do this?? i have bios set to boot floppy, scsi, then hdd-0. HELP!
